The unisex lifestyle shoe Asics GEL-NYC 2.0 combines retro running style with modern technology. The upper is based on the 2000 GEL-1050 model, while the outsole combines elements from the GEL-1050 and GEL-LYTE DS II. The result is a lifestyle shoe with a distinctive heritage character, ideal for all-day wear.
Compared with the first version, it’s lighter and more comfortable. The midsole features FF BLAST™ PLUS foam, adapted for everyday use, for a soft and responsive feel. Gel inserts in the heel and forefoot absorb impact, while the TRUSSTIC™ TPU component provides stability.
