The Nike KD18 men’s basketball shoes pay tribute to the original Nike Foamposite One Royal, which was born in the DMV area—a region renowned for both its talented basketball players and its distinctive sneakers.
A large forefoot Air Zoom unit gives you extra speed for explosive takeoffs, whether you’re running at full speed or starting from a standstill. The latest version of Cushlon foam adds a soft, comfortable feel and keeps you feeling fresh throughout the game. The lower layer of the upper features Zoom Strobel cushioning in the heel, giving you a springy bounce with every step, while a sturdy plastic plate directly underfoot follows the movement of your foot. Together with the forefoot Air Zoom unit, it delivers an explosive first step, support, and stability. A durable plastic cage on both sides of your foot also keeps you securely in place.
