Nike Kobe A.D. Protro
The Nike Kobe A.D. Protro men's basketball shoes first appeared in 2016 and return in a new design built for the pace, pressure and precision of today's game.
Puck-shaped ZoomX in the forefoot works with full-length React foam to deliver a springy response with every step, change of direction and attack. The Air Zoom unit in the heel adds bounce and support. A wider forefoot offers a more comfortable fit, while the lightweight embroidered textile upper with Dynamic Flywire locks the foot in place. A credit-card-sized midfoot reinforcement provides stability during sharp changes of direction. An improved herringbone traction pattern extends across the toe and sides for reliable grip with every turn.
The shoes feature a low-cut collar and classic laces. They weigh approximately 380 g (men's size 42.5) and have a heel-to-toe drop of about 6 mm.
